THE PINK RIBBON
True to tradition, we color October PINK and support the Pink Ribbon Campaign.
In Norway, the Breast Cancer Association and the Cancer Society collaborate on the campaign, which is also part of an international grassroots movement.
The campaign “Show that you care – wear a pink ribbon in October!” has been organized in Norway since 1999 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2023!
The goal of the Pink Ribbon Campaign is to show solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, spread information, increase awareness, and support breast cancer research.
The research funds from the Pink Ribbon Campaign go toward vital breast cancer research, helping more people survive and improving the quality of life after treatment. After each campaign, research grants are announced for breast cancer projects. In recent years, the campaign has supported 3–6 research projects annually. (Source: rosasloyfe.no)
IDÉ House of Brands is proud to have supplied products to the Pink Ribbon Campaign for several consecutive years. Some items are recurring favorites like reflectors, pens, and Post-it pads. Other products are brand new for the year, and the selection is updated to match the annual theme.
All products can be found in the Pink Ribbon online store.

This year's Pink Ribbon has been launched
This year's Pink Ribbon was launched on September 23, and the designer is Celine Irgens Aagaard and her design team at ENVELOPE1976. Aagaard is one of Norway’s leading fashion profiles and style icons, and she explains the inspiration behind the ribbon’s ocean-themed design:
“The ribbon is a symbol of life, with its waves and cliffs. Life isn’t flat — it has both highs and lows. The design also carries a rawness and strength, which one needs when affected by breast cancer.”
More than 4,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Norway every year. Behind each number is a mother, daughter, sister, or friend. Treatment and follow-up must therefore be tailored to the individual.
When you buy this year’s Pink Ribbon, you support vital research that makes this possible.
